Arabic Essentials App Reviews

I kind of like this app. It works and makes it easy to learn and repeat your vocabulary. It´s nothing for pure beginners, though. It uses the Arabic alphabet without introducing or explaining it. It also doesn´t introduce any grammar. Finally it doesn´t work with sentences or phrases. That´s a pity. I also would appreciate it if there was the possibility to add own words / phrases even if I know that this is quite a challenge for an Arabic app.. But all in all: I think I ll keep using this app. It´s good for a ten minutes Arabic break :)

Real good app to learn vocabel. The voice is loud and clear. I would buy the fullversion but I need the same app in german arabic. So far it is possible I would be very thanksful.

This is not good

According to many of my Arabic friends the man has an accent and isnt saying the words exact. The tests are good but the pronunciation is off!!!

It would be nice if you didnt have to already know how to read Arabic to learn to speak it. Do me a favor, add a version with English translations then I can learn how to write it after I learn the meaning of the word...

Its a nice app all together but since I know Arabic its easier but the problem is that the guy speaking and translating the words has the weirdest dialect and most of the time I can barely understand him... The features it has is pretty nice but if u start speaking that dialect to someone who knows Arabic, I highly doubt most of them will understand....but other than bot understanding the accent its a pretty good app.

After the update i am now unable to translate the sentences.

Would be much better for me as well as others if app contained English phonetic translation along side the native.

As an Israeli teenager, I feel like it is important for us Israelis to learn arabic so that we can communicate with our Arab neighbors. This app is perfect for that purpose - it provides easy pronunciation of the words as well as smart categorization of the 100+ words it contains. 1 complaint: I, personally, am not trying to learn how to write down the words (just how to pronounce them) so it would help if there would be an option to take the quiz "by heart" and not by spelling. Thanks, keep up the good work!!

I loved this app until the "update". Now the translate feature is gone...the part I used the most. Now this app no use to me.

I cant believe its free. I am an Arabic student in أمرك. For those of your who like to complain, learn the alphabet and to read or else you will be doing yourself a great disservice!

Its really amazing application to learn Arabic . Unfortunately its short program but its fit for beginner

I got this app n its great but when I got this other translator it said "to ask" a different way and in this app it is translated as(Se-ala) and the other it said a different word plzz help

You dont learn anything

it should have more common words like hello or good morning

It would be easier to learn numbers in *numerical* order instead of alphabetical. Same if months and days were chronological.
